Offense:
Likes to get the run game going to setup everything else. If successful early, can be a tough to stop because he won't abandon the ground game. Enjoys running Forsett on counters and sweeps, while Lynch typically pounds the rock between the tackles. When in obvious passing situations (3rd and Long), likes to find Vernon Davis who is a matchup nightmare. Also has Stevie Johnson and Sidney Rice, who are both pretty good on the outside, but they don't see many passes.
Defense:
Loads up to stop the run on 1st and 2nd down. However, he has good edge players who typically shed blocks quickly on outside runs. Mixes up man and zone well, but doesn't have world-beaters in coverage. His secondary is good enough to make plays if you become predictable in play-calling. Usually runs a "single safety high", which means you should be able to find holes in coverage most of the time.
Note: I've played Throne twice this season, and this scouting report is my humble opinion of his style of play. Doesn't mean he won't switch it up in the future. Thanks.
