Arizona Cardinals Beat Writer, Cecil Collins -- 12/27/2011
The following statement was issued early this morning by Cardinals' GM BigJohnMic:
"After many sleepless nights mulling over this situation, I feel it is in the best interest of the Arizona Cardinals to explore trade options for Larry Fitzgerald. Larry has been an amazing role model for the community and a great ambassador for the XML. However, he has requested to be traded to a team that will better use his talents. We will do our best to honor his request, while improving our team in the process."
With that said, WR Larry Fitzgerald is officially on the trading block.
