Welcome to the first inaugural "XML's Best"! Here we will highlight who was the best at their respective positions, and award them accordingly. In this series, there will be 3 candidates up for the award at each position. There wasn't a ton of superlative play from Wideouts this past season, so this list wasn't too difficult to composite. To the few that were worthy but didn't make the cut, better luck next year. It was pretty clear that these three Wide Receivers performed the best. Without further ado, here are the 3 candidates who are up for Best WR:
1. Brandon Marshall - San Francisco 49ers
- Receiving: 59 receptions, 1576 yards, 14 TDs (26.7 yds/rec, 98.5 yds/game)
2. Danario Alexander - St. Louis Rams
- Receiving: 81 receptions, 1469 yards, 14 TDs (18.1 yds/rec, 97.9 yds/game)
3. Roddy White - Jacksonville Jaguars
- Receiving: 73 receptions, 1135 yards, 12 TDs (15.5 yds/rec, 75.7 yds/game)
