XML's: Who's Hot? Who's Not?
Each week, we'll wrap up the goings on with the top 2 things that are hot, and the top 2 things that are not around the XML
Who's Hot? Perfect QBs
Six Quarterbacks in Week 2 completed over 70% of their passes this week. And each of them their game. Eagles QB Tom Brady (79%), Titans QB Jake Locker (80%), Panthers QB Sam Bradford (74%), Patriots QB Matt Ryan (86%), Dolphins QB Colin Kaepernick (71%), and Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (73%) all killed it in week 2 with high efficiency and deadly accuracy. HOT!!!!!!
Who's Hot? Sack Masters
Four defensive players were absolutely relentless getting to the precious Quarterback in week 2. Packers DE Na'Quan Watson (4.0), Chiefs MLB Markis Savoie (4.0), Patriots DT Vince Wilfork (3.0), and Broncos DE Aaron Smith (3.0) all recorded 3 or more sacks this week. They were clearly hungry big guys, so for raping QBs this week, they'll receive the stamp of: HOT!!!!!
Who's Not? Interceptions
Three QBs spent most of their week 2 game throwing to the opposing team, rather than their own receivers. Seahawks QB Blaine Gabbert threw 5 interceptions to the Cardinals. Bills QB Brandon Toscano threw 4 to the Patriots. And Lions QB Mark Sanchez added to his 7 from week 1, throwing 3 more to the Patriots. All of these QBs cost their teams big time in these three blowouts NOT!!!!!!!!!
Who's Not? Getting Shut-Out
Yes ladies, hide those terrible towels. Wipe your tears with them. The Pittsburgh Steelers put up the stinker of the week, getting shut out by the Bengals 17-0. Steelers QB Matthew Stafford only managed to complete 5 of his 14 passes for only 72 yards and 2 interceptions. The offense only converted 2 third downs, took 4 sacks, lost a fumble, and never got into the redzone. Uhhh....Yea....NOT!!!!!!!!
